The past and the present of the university demonstrate that for 75 years of its existing it got a reputation of significant educational and cultural center of the Southern coast of the Crimea.
The passed historical distance (Yalta pedagogical college, Crimean state institute for the humanities, Crimean university for the humanities) proves that the Academy is a mobile modern system which follows the innovations of social development.
During this period more than twenty thousand of students received special pedagogical education, many of whom became prominent figures in education, science and culture. Such things as humanistic orientation and loyalty to democratic traditions remain unchanged in the university's activities.
